Mutkaneva is an almost flat gravel rally track where the challenge comes from the corners rather than the hills. The 1,306 m lap stays within about 5 meters of height, so braking points and turning the car matter more than momentum.

About the track
A long start straight leads into pairs of tight corners, followed by a short straight through the middle of the lap, a hairpin loop on the west side and a string of short bursts of acceleration between the turns. The banking is modest because the character comes from the layout, yet the tightest corners get enough support to make the inside line work.
Three laps make a 3.9 km race. There are 29 checkpoints after every important braking and turning zone, which stops anyone from cutting the corner pairs or the hairpin loop. Local dips, patches and washed-out grooves keep the gravel lively and 20 water puddles splash the car, while the apex lines of the tightest corners are left clear of potholes.
Day, night and mirror
Mutkaneva Night runs the same road after dark: the fog closes in and your headlights switch on automatically. Mutkaneva Mirror and Mutkaneva Night Mirror drive the lap in the opposite direction, so every corner becomes a new challenge. Each of the four versions keeps its own personal best lap in your browser.
